What a lovely place, great decor and friendly people. Sure was plenty of food options to pick from. They had amazing looking treats. We enjoyed our lunches inside at a table. I truly enjoyed my sandwich, reminded me of days coming here when it was Debbie's Kitchen.
Came here after a gymnastics meet at the Capital Center. We ordered 2 paninis (chicken avvho and a turkey one) and a pappa's papps special. Awesome service and awesome food. People were really nice! Super recommend!

I was drawn to the funky neighborhood and pulled in by the great reviews. I had the Kickin Cobb Salad, wonderful! Don't ask her for any advice, I think it's all good and don't make her pick, you should just make a decision. She's a precious talent making a go in a little hole-in-the wall ... support her! Btw, the brownie was super decadent.
If you live or work in Albany and are not yet frequenting this place, I suggest you start. The sandwiches and salads are special and delicious and the desserts are bakery quality. The counter service is warm and friendly, always generous. It's small and rustic, but also the best place for lunch in downtown. IMHO.
Loved this place- the Wake Up Wrap is a must try! The owner and server was so warm and friendly and the place is homey and welcoming- so happy we supported this small business.
Absolutely one of my new favorite lunch spots in Albany. The food is so fresh and delicious! The staff is extremely friendly! The menu is excellent! The decor is quirky! Parking is easy! My chicken pot pie was hot, filled with chicken and yumminess! My salad and homemade blue cheese dressing was a perfect combination for my pie. Thank you so much for a lovely meal and experience!!
I've been having to go to Albany Med a lot lately, so this has turned into my go-to spot to grab something to eat on my walk home. It's a quirky little cafe with the kindest, warmest service around -- the kind of place where they remember what you ordered the last time you came in. Everything comes out mouth-burningly hot and fresh, prices are reasonable, and the food is flavorful and nicely-presented. Sufferers of severe post-appointment hanger should definitely order the huge and delicious wake up wrap.
